Italy Tells is a communication campaign that aims to promote the work done in Albanian villages, alongside rural communities, of the Italian Agency For Development Cooperation. The campaign Italy Tells portrays, in particular, the typical elements of the areas of Malësi e Madhe, Shkodra, Gjirokastër and Përmet.
The intention of this photographic campaign was to give importance to those typical elements, making them the main "character" of the region. Through this concept, we explore them in a poetic state of being: the "Still Life". We wanted to transmit the idea of stillness in contrast to the fast-changing conditions of our society. Do we want to put at risk those elements that represent our culture, inheritance and in-depth understanding of our identity? Or do we want to keep them?
